Tuag adref 'r wyf yn teithio

("Fel yr enillwn fwy")
Tuag adref 'r wyf yn teithio,
  Tuag adref at fy Nhad:
Hoffai'm hysbryd hedeg yno
  Heb ymdroi mewn anial wlad:
    Ymfoddlonaf,
  Mwy o waith fel hyn a wnaf.

Dwedaf wrth bob un a gwrddaf -
  "Dewch, heb oedi, gyda mi;
Parod yw fy Nhad i'ch derbyn,
  Cartref ganddo sydd i chwi:"
    Ennill rhywrai
  Fydd fy ngwaith wrth fynd ymlaen.

Os yn araf 'r wyf yn teithio
  Deuaf adref yn yr hwyr;
Faint o ffordd sydd gennyf eto
  Nid oes neb ond Duw a ŵyr:
    Ennill rhywrai
  A felywsa'r daith i gyd.

Tôn [878747]: Regent Square (Henry Smart 1813-19)

("That I might win more")
Towards home I am travelling,
  Towards home to my Father:
My spirit would love to fly there
  Without dawdling in desert land:
    I shall delight myself,
  Evermore in the work that I do thus.

I shall tell to everyone I meet -
  "Come ye, without delay, with me;"
Ready is my Father to receive you:"
    To save some
  Shall be my work while going forward.

If slowly I am travelling
  I shall come home in the evening;
How many roads are left for me
  None but God knows:
    To save some
  Shall sweeten all the journey.
