Telyn Seion ar ei thannau

Telyn Seion, ar ei thannau
  Chwery bysedd engyl iach,
Dyna delyn saint yr oesau,
  Dyna delyn plentyn bach.

    Delyn Seion, ar ei thannau
      Chwery bysedd engyl iach,
    Dyna delyn
        saint yr oesau,
      Dyna delyn plentyn bach.

Delyn Seion, - hen alawon
  Ddysgwyd yn y cystudd mawr,
Gyd-gymysgant â newyddion
  Odlau hedd y bore wawr.

Delyn Seion, - yn dy seiniau
  Crwydra hiraeth am y nef,
Gwlad y bywyd di-ofidiau -
  Gwlad yr anthem "Iddo Ef."

Delyn Seion, - beraidd dannau, -
  Tyred eto ar dy hynt,
I ddeffroi y diwygiadwy
  Fu yn ysgwyd Cymru gynt!

Gwlad y gân fo Cymru dirion,
  Ei dyfodol fyddo'n glaer;
Ond ar edyn ei hawelon
  Cluder
      "sŵn y delyn aur."
Robert David Rowland (Anthropos) 1853?-1944

Tôn [8787+8787]: Telyn Seion (Parch. J Lumley Davies)

The harp of Zion, on its strings
Shall play the fingers of holy angels,
There is the harp of the saints of the ages,
There is the harp of little children.

The harp of Zion, on its strings
Shall play the fingers of holy angels,
    There is the harp of
        the saints of the ages,
There is the harp of little children.

Harp of Zion, - old melodies
  Learned in the great tribulation,
Mix together with new
Odes of the peace of the morning dawn.

Harp of Zion, - in thy sound
  Wanders the longing for heaven,
The land of life without fears -
The land of the anthem "Unto Him."

Harp of Zion, - sweet strings, -
  Come again on thy course,
To awaken the revivable
Who once used to shake Wales!

The land of song be dear Wales,
  It's future be clear;
But on the thread of its breezes
Is "the sound of the golden harp"
      to be conveyed.
tr. 2015 Richard B Gillion
