Trefn y rhôd a geir yn rhedeg

(Salm CXLV. 3 - Rhan II)
Trefn y rhôd a geir yn rhedeg,
Cadw o hyd mewn pryd ac adeg;
  Hâf a gauaf, caf i gofio,
  Am ei fawredd i 'myfyrio.

Mae rhyw ddi-dwyll ryfeddodau,
Y'ng'leini'r mellt,
    a sŵn taranau;
  Sydd yn dangos gallu'r Llywydd
  Nef a llawr,
      mae mawr yw'r Arglydd.

Dŵr a daear, tân ac awyr,
'Rhai'ny sy'n mynegu'n eglur;
  Y'mhob man, mae rhan o'i fawredd,
  Ond mwy a gair y'ngair gwirionedd.

Nid oes doniau 'meddiant dynion,
Na medr llawn, mewn dawn angylion,
  I fyfyrio maint ei fawredd,
  Ynddo'i hun, mewn un briodeledd.

(Psalm 148:3 - Part 2)
The arrangement of the sky is got running,
Keeping always in time and occasion;
  Summer and winter, I will get to remember,
  His greatness for my study.

There are some sincere wonders,
In the light of the lightning,
    and sound of thunder;
  Which shows the power of the Governor
  Or heaven and earth,
      that great is the Lord.

Water and earth, fire and air,
These are expressing clearly;
  Everywhere there is part of his greatness,
  But more is to be got in the word of truth.

There are no gifts in the possesion of men,
That can fully, in the gift of angels,
  To study the vastness of his greatness,
  In himself, in one attribute.
tr. 2015 Richard B Gillion
