Trwy gywir ffydd esgyn f'enaid cu

1,2,(3,(4)).
(Golwg ar ogoniant y nef)
Trwy gywir ffydd,
    O esgyn, f'enaid cu!
Gwel dy breswylfod
    uwch yr wybren fry;
  Ni ddeall dyn,
      ac ni all tafod chwaith
  Byth adrodd maint
      ei phur ogoniant maith!
Teyrnasu mae yr Iesu
    yn fuddugol,
Angeu a'r bedd
    orchfygwyd yn dragwyddol!

Un gofid trwm,
    na chystudd trist, na chur,
Ni ddaw i byrth
    y lân breswylfa bur;
  Na chlwyf na braw
      i'r saint i'w blino mwy,
  Yr anwyl Oen
      a sŷch eu dagrau hwy.
Eu galar maith,
    A'u chwerwon ddwys riddfanau,
Yno a dry yn
    hyfryd bêr ganiadau.

Mae afon bur
    yn d'od o'r orsedd wiw;
A dyfroedd bywiol hon,
    rhinweddol yw;
  Yno mae hyfryd
      Bren y Bywyd cu,
  A'i ffrwythau Ef
      sydd wledd dragwyddol fry!
Teyrnasu mae yr Iesu
    yn fuddugol,
Angeu a'r bedd
    orchfygwyd yn dragwyddol!

Fe saif yr arfaeth
    ddwyfol yn ddi-lŷth,
Ni ddryllia'r isel
    gorsen ysig byth;
  A'r llîn yn mygu
      byth ni ddiffydd chwaith,
  A hyn a fydd yn
      fawr ryfeddod faith,
Hyd oni ddygo farn
    i fuddugoliaeth,
A Seion wych
    ar diroedd iachawdwriaeth!

(View of the glory of heaven)
Through true faith,
    ascend, my dear soul!
See thy dwelling
    higher than the sky above;
  Man does not understand,
      and neither can a tongue either
  Ever report the extent
      of its vast, pure glory!
Reigning is Jesus
    victoriously,
Death and the grave
    have been vanquished eternally!

Neither any heavy worry,
    nor sad affliction, nor ache,
Shall come to the portals
    of the pure, holy residence;
  No wound or terror for the saints
      to grieve them any more,
  The dear Lamb shall
      dry their tears.
Their extensive mourning,
    And their bitter, intense groans,
There shall turn into
    delightful, sweet songs.

There is a pure river
    coming from the worthy throne;
And these living waters
    are virtuous;
  There is the delightful,
      dear Tree of Life,
  And Its fruits are
      an eternal feast above!
Reigning is Jesus
    victoriously,
Death and the grave
    have been vanquished eternally!

The divine plan
    shall stand unfailingly,
He will not crush the lowly,
    trembling reed ever;
  And the smoking flax
      he will never extinguish either,
  And this shall be a
      great, vast wonder,
Until he brings judgment
    to victory,
And brilliant Zion
    on lands of salvation!
