Wel dyma hyfryd fan
  i droi at Dduw,
Lle gall credadun gwan
  gael nerth i fyw:
Fry at dy orsedd Di
'rŷm yn dyrchafu'n cri;
O edrych arnom ni,
  a'n gweddi clyw!

Ddiddanydd Eglwys Dduw,
  ti Ysbryd Glân,
Sy'n llanw'r galon friw
  â mawl a chân,
O disgyn yma nawr
yn nerth dy allu mawr;
O'r nefoedd tyrd i lawr
  mewn dwyfol dân.

Iachawdwr mawr y byd,
  bywha dy waith;
A galw'r saint ynghyd
  drwy'r ddaear faith;
Mae'n calon yn llesgáu,
O tyred i'n bywhau,
I'n harwain a'n cryfhau
  ar hyd y daith.

  to turn to God,
Where a weak believer can
  get strength to live:
Above to Thy throne
we are raising our cry;
O look upon us,
  and hear our prayer!

O comforter of God's Church,
  thou Holy Spirit,
Who fills the wounded heart
  with praise and song,
O descend here now
in the strength of thy great might;
From the heavens come down
  in divine fire!

Great Saviour of the world,
  revive thy work;
And call the saints together
  through the wide earth!
Our hearts are fainting,
O come to revive us,
To lead us and strengthen us
  along the journey.

Here from the world we turn,
  Jesus to seek;
Here may His loving voice
  tenderly speak!
Jesus, our dearest Friend,
while at Thy feet we bend,
O let Thy smile descend!
  'Tis Thee we seek.

Come, holy Comforter,
  Presence divine,
Now in our longing hearts
  graciously shine;
O for Thy mighty power!
O for a blessèd shower,
Filling this hallowed hour
  with joy divine!

Saviour, Thy work revive;
  here may we see
Those who are dead in sin
  quickened by Thee;
Come to our hearts tonight,
make every burden light;
Cheer Thou our waiting sight;
  we long for Thee.
