Wel dyma wledd gwledd ein Duw Ion

1,2a,3,4,5;  1,2b,5,6,7a,8;  1,5,6,7b,8.
(Bwrdd yr Arglwydd)
1 Wel, dyma wledd,
      gwledd ein Duw ION,
  O basgedigion breision,
A gwin puredig yn ddidrai
  I lawenhau y cleifion,

2a Ond gwledd yw hon gyfoethog hael?
  'Does diwedd gael mohoni,
O pwy n'anturia 'mlaen yn rhwydd,
  I wledd yr Arglwydd Iesu?

2b Ond gwledd yw hon gyfoethog hael,
  Heb ddiwedd i gael arni?
O pwy na ddeued y'mlaen yn rhwydd
  I wledd yr Arglwydd Iesu?

3 Yfwn yn ëon îs y nen,
  Ffrwyth y winwydden heddy':
Ar fyrder ni gawn
    brofi ei blâs
  O fewn i deyrnas Iesu.

4 Bwytewch yn helaeth yn ei dŷ,
  Mae ef i ni yn perthyn;
Yfwch i dre, p'am byddech sŷch?
  Cyfeillion y'ch i'r Brenhin.

5 Os claf, os gwan, os tlawd o hedd,
  O dowch i'r wledd yn fuan;
Dewch a'ch achwynion o bob rhyw,
  Fe'u hateb Duw ei hunan.

6 Yma cewch wel'd ein Harglwydd mawr
  Yn rhoddi 'lawr yn hollol
Ei hun i angau, angau'r groes,
  Yn ddiddig dros ei bobl.

7a Cawn fwyta'i gnawd (wel dyna rad!)
  Ac yfed gwaed yr Iesu:
Pa fodd gall ein calonau lai
  Na'i wir fawrhau a'i garu?

7b Cawn fwyta'i gnawd (wel, dyma rad),
   Ac yfed gwaed yr Iesu;
 P'odd gall ein clonau ni bob rhai,
   'N dragywydd lai na'i garu?

8 Mi gofiaf eiriau
      f'Arglwydd hael,
  Yr hwyr cyn cael ei hoelio;
I fwyta'i swper, minnau ddôf
  Y'mlaen er côf am dano.

Tonau [MS 8787]:

St Beuno (<1875)

(The Lord's Table)
1 See, here is a feast,
    the feast of the Lord our God,
  From baskets of fat things,
And purified wine unebbing
  To cheer the sick,

2a But is this a rich, generous feast?
  There is no end to be had to it,
O who shall not venture forward readily,
  To the feast of the Lord Jesus?

2b But is this rich, generous feast,
  Without any end got to it?
O who would not come forward readily
  To the feast of the Lord Jesus?

3 Let us drink boldly under the sky,
  The fruit of the vine today:
Shortly we shall get
    to experience its taste
  Within the kingdom of Jesus.

4 Eat ye copiously in his house,
  It belongs to us;
Drink ye at home, why would ye be thirsty?
  Friends ye are of the King.

5 If sick, if weak, if poor of peace,
  O come ye to the feast soon;
Come with your complaints of every kind,
  God will answer them himself.

6 He ye will get to see our great Lord
  Giving down completely
Himself to death, the death of the cross,
  Contentedly for his people.

7a We may eat his flesh (see here is grace!)
  And drink the blood of Jesus:
How can our hearts do less
  Than truly magnify him and love him?

7b We may eat his flesh (see, here is grace),
  And drink the blood of Jesus;
How can our hearts of any kind,
  In eternity do less than love him?

8 I will remember the words
      of my generous Lord,
    The evening before his getting nailed;
To eat his supper, I will come
  Forward in memory of him.
