Wele'n dyfod ar y cwmwl
  'Rhwn fu farw ar y pren;
Myrdd myrddiynau o angylion
  Sy'n amgylchu'i orsedd wen;
    Haleliwia,
  Iesu a deyrnasa byth!

Dacw'r Brenin yn ei gerbyd -
  Udgyrn fyrdd yn canu o'i flaen;
Cydymgasgla'r meirw cysglyd
  Oll ger bron yr orsedd lan:
    Haleliwia,
  Dyma ddydd gogoniant Crist!

Gorfoledda y ffyddloniaid,
  A'u llawenydd fydd yn llawn;
Dyma'u Prynwr mawr bendigaid,
  A'u Gwaredwr anwyl iawn;
    Haleliwia,
  Byddant mwyach gydag Ef!

See coming on the cloud
  He who died on the cross;
A myriad myriads of angels
  Which are surrounding his white throne;
    Hallelujah!
  Jesus shall reign forever.

Yonder is the King in his chariot -
  A myriad trumpets playing before him;
The sleepy dead will gather
  All before the holy throne:
    Hallelujah!
  Here is the day of the glory of Christ.

The faithful will rejoice,
  And their joy will be full;
Here is the great, blessed Redeemer,
  And their very dear deliverer;
    Hallelujah!
  They will be evermore with Him.

Lo! He comes with clouds descending,
  Once for favoured sinners slain;
Thousand thousand saints attending,
  Swell the triumph of His train:
    Hallelujah!
  God appears on earth to reign.

Every eye shall now behold Him
  Robed in dreadful majesty;
Those who set at naught and sold Him,
  Pierced and nailed Him to the tree,
    Deeply wailing,
  Shall the true Messiah see.

Now redemption, long expected,
  See in solemn pomp appear;
All His saints, by man rejected,
  Now shall meet Him in the air:
    Hallelujah!
  See the day of God appear!
