Waredwr mawr y byd

  Waredwr mawr y byd!
    Rho oleu ffydd yn awr,
  A dangod ini i gyd,
    Dy ryfedd gariad mawr,
Pan er ein mwyn bedyddiwyd Di
Yn nyoddefiadau Calfari!

  Ufudd-dod teulu'r ffydd,
    I'r sanctaidd ordinhad,
  Drwy'th fedydd iawnol, sydd
    Yn llwyr foddlon'r Tad;
Mae dwyfol werth dy aberth Di
Yn llanw'n holl ddiffygion ni!

  Mor hawdd yw ufuddhau,
    Yn ngolwg Calfari,
  A'r nef yn llawenhau
    Yn ein hufudd-dod ni! -
Testynau melus wledd a chān,
Yw'th wethfawr ordinhadau glān.

  Great Deliverer of the world,
    Give the light of faith now!
  And show us all,
    Thy wonderful great love,
When for our sake thou wast baptised
In the sufferings of Calvary!

  The obedience of the family of the faith,
    To the sacred ordinance,
  Through thy atoning baptism, is
    Completely satisfying the Father;
The divine worth of thy sacrifice is
Filling all our deficiencies!

  How beautiful is obedience,
    In the sight of Calvary,
  And heaven rejoices
    In our own obedience! -
The sweet themes of feast and song,
Is thy precious, holy ordinance.
