Wele fod brodyr yn byw 'nghyd

(Salm 133 - Cariad brawdol)
Wele, fod brodyr yn byw 'nghyd,
  Mor dda, mor hyfryd, ydoedd!
Tebyg i olew o fawr werth,
  Mor brydferth ar y gwisgoedd.

Fel pe disgynai draw o'r nen,
  Hyd farf a phen offeiriad;
Sef barf Aaron, a'i wisg i gyd,
  Yn hyfryd ei arogliad.

Fel pe disgynai gwlith Hermon
  Yn dô dros Sïon fynydd;
Lle rhwymodd Duw fywyd, a gwlith
  Ei fendith yn dragywydd.

(Psalm 133 - Brotherly love)
See, that brothers were living together
  How good, how delightful is was!
Like oil of great worth,
  How beautiful on the garments.

As if it would descend yonder from the sky,
  As far as the beard and head of a priest;
That is Aaron's beard, and all his clothing,
  Delightful its aroma.

As if the dew of Hermon were descending
  As a roof over Zion mountain;
Where God bound life, and the dew
  Of his blessing eternally.

tr. 2016 Richard B Gillion
(PSAL. CXXXIII.)
1 How vast must their advantage be!
    how great their pleasure prove!
  Who live like brethren, and consent
    in offices of love!

2 True love is like that precious oil,
    which, poured on Aaron's head,
  Ran down his beard, and o'er his robes
    its costly moisture shed.

3 'Tis like refreshing dew, which does
    on Hermon's top distil;
  Or like the early drops that fall
    on Zion's fruitful hill.

4 For Zion is the chosen seat,
    where the Almighty King
  The promised blessing has ordained,
    and life's eternal spring.
