Y bedd yw lletty pob dyn doeth

1,(2),3.
(Ail Rhan - Salm XLIX. 10,14,15.
Angau yw diwedd pob dyn.)
Y bedd yw lletty pob dyn doeth,
  Y ffol a'r annoeth unwedd;
Bydd farw'r naill, bydd farw'r llall,
  I arall gād ei annedd.

Angau yw terfyn pob dyn byw,
  I hwn nid yw ond tammaid;
Rhaid myned oll o'r tŷ i'r bedd,
  Yn rhwym un wedd a'r defaid.

Ond daw i'r cyfion
    drannoeth llon,
  Ei fywyd lon a estyn;
A phan o'r bedd y codo'n fyw,
  Deheulaw Duw a'i derbyn.
codo'n fyw :: codo'i fyw

(Part 2 - Psalm 49: 10,14,15.
Death is the end of every man.)
The grave is the lodging of every wise man,
  The fool and the unwise alike;
The one will die, the other will die,
  To another he will leave his dwelling.

Death is the limit of every living man,
  To it he is only a morsel;
All must go from the house to the grave,
  Bound in the same way as the sheep.

But to the righteous shall come
    a cheerful morrow,
  His cheerful life shall extend;
And when from the grave he rises alive,
  The right hand of God shall receive him.
rises alive :: rises to live
