Y Jehofa sy'n teyrnasu
  Yn ei allu ar bob llu,
Llywio mae o entrych nefoedd
  I ddyfnderoedd uffern ddu;
Fe sy'n peri'r haul i godi,
  Fe sydd yn gwasgaru'r gwlaw;
Deil y bydoedd trwy'r ehangder
  Oll ar ei alluog law.

Duw sydd yn dilladu'r lili,
  Ac efe sy'n porthi'r brain;
Llefa'r llewod ieuainc arno,
  Ac mae'n gwrando ar y rhai'n;
Pa faint mwy y ceidw Sïon?
  Hono ar ei galon sy;
Cyn y caiff ei blant newynu,
  Manna ddyry oddi fry.

Mewn trallodion, na rwgnachwn,
  Cofiwn beunydd pwy sydd Dduw;
Ymfoddlonwn i'w ewyllys;
  Hyn yn ddilys gweddus yw;
Ymostyngwn i'w drefniadau,
  Ef ŵyr oreu beth yw'n lles;
Am ein dwyn y mae yn dirion
  Trwy bob troion ato'n nes.

The Jehovah who is reigning
  In his power over every host,
Is governing from the vault of heaven
  To the depths of black hell;
'Tis he who causes the sun to rise,
  He who scatters the rain;
He holds the worlds throughout the vastness
  All by his mighty hand.

'Tis God who clothes the lily,
  And he who feeds the crows;
The young lions cry to him,
  And he listens to them;
How much more will he keep Zion?
  She is on his heart;
Before the children starve,
  He will give manna from above.

In troubles, let us not grumble,
  Let us remember daily who is God;
Let us content ourselves with his will;
  This is unfailingly fitting
Let us humble ourselves to his ordinances,
  He knows what is best for our benefit;
Wanting to lead us he is tenderly
  Through all twists closer to himself.
