Yn awr machluda haul y dydd,
Ond tyred di, Oleuni ffydd,
  Y byth-barhaol Un yn Dri,
  Llewyrcha i'n calonnau ni.

Tydi a folwn fore glas,
A'r hwyr gweddïwn am dy ras;
  Teilynga wrando'n hufudd lef
  Ymhlith cantorion pur y nef.

Anfeidrol Dad, O gwrando'n cri,
Trwy Iesu Grist, ein Harglwydd ni,
  Sydd gyda thi a'r Ysbryd Glân
  Yn byw mewn hanfod diwahân.

Now sets the sun of the day,
But come thou, Light of faith,
  The ever-enduring One in Three,
  Shine in our hearts.

Thee do we praise at early morn,
And in the evening we pray for thy grace;
  Deign to listen to our obedient cry
  Among the pure songs of heaven.

As fades the glowing orb of day,
To Thee, great source of light, we pray;

To Thee our vows we humbly pay;
  May we, mid joys that never end,
  With Thy bright Saints in homage bend.

To God the Father, and the Son,
And Holy Spirit, Three in One,
  Be endless glory, as before
  The world began, so evermore.
