Yr undeb hwn a wnaed yn awr

(Deisyf Bendith ar Briodas)
Yr undeb hwn a wnaed yn awr,
  I'r ddeuddyn hyn gydfyw,
Fo er eu cysur, ac yn rym
  I anrhydeddu Duw.

Boed iddynt fyw mewn cariad llon
  Gerbron eu Duw o hyd,
A'i wir was'naethu Ef bob awr
  Tra byddont yn y byd.

Duw Dad, a Mab, ac Ysbryd Glân,
  A drigo yn eu plith;
A bydded Ef i'r rhai'n yn Dduw,
  Ac i'w hiliogaeth byth.

Tôn [MC 8686]: St Stephen (William Jones 1726-1800)

(Petition for Blessing on a Marriage)
This union made now,
  For these two persons to live together,
Be their comfort, and a force
  To honour God.

May they live in cheerful love
  Before their God always,
And truly serve him every hour
  While ever they live in the world.

May God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
  Dwell amongst them;
And may he be God to them,
  And to their descendants forever.
