Y'm ni drueiniaid etto'n fyw?

Y'm ni drueiniaid etto'n fyw,
Er hir ryfela'n erbyn Duw?
Rhyfeddod, O rhyfeddod yw,
  Na buasem obry'n awr:
Anfeidrol gariad Duw'n parhau,
A'n cadwodd o'r uffernol ffau;
Teilyngaf glôd a fyddo'n glau,
  Dros byth i'w enw mawr.

Mae bloedd ein beiau bob yr awr
Yn gwaeddi am ein tòri lawr,
Ond cariad y Cyfryngwr mawr, 
  Sy'n gwaeddi "dal dy law;"
Am hyn na chaed un pechod mwy,
Nac unrhyw chwant ein rhwystro'n hwy;
I'r Crist a deimlodd farwol glwy'
  Boed i ni fyw rhagllaw.

Are we wretches still alive,
Despite long warring against God?
Wonderful, O wonderful it is,
  That we are not below now!
The immeasurable love of God enduring,
Which kept us from the infernal lair;
The most worthy praise be readily,
  Forever to his great name!

The shout of our sins every hour is
Crying for us to be cut down,
But the love of the great Mediator,
  Is crying, "hold thy hand!"
Therefore let there be no more sin,
Nor any lust obstructing us any more;
May the Christ who felt a mortal wound
  Be for us living as a regent.
