Ymddiried wnawn i'r Iesu mwyn, Gŵyr am ein gofid oll, a'n cwyn: Bu yma Ei hun yn byw; O blith angylion teg eu gwawr Y daeth i barthau isa'r llawr, Y Gyfaill dynol ryw. Cawn gydymdeimlad Iesu Grist O dan wasgfeuon calon drist - Bu'n wylo'r dagrau'n lli; Mae Ef yn Brïod ac yn Frawd I bob amŵamddifad clwyfs tlawd, Gŵyr am ein cystudd ni. Am nerth i ddilyn Iesu glân, Ar ben y daith cawn chwyddo'r gân Dragwyddol iddo Ef: Ei foli am Ei gariad pur, A'r cymorth gaed dan lawer cur, Fydd hyfryd waith y nef.W Evans Jones (Penllyn) 1854–1938 Tôn [886D]: Carlton (C Francis Lloyd 1852-1917) |
Trust let us do in dear Jesus, Who knows about all our grief, and our complaint: He was here himself living; From the midst of angels with their fair dawn He came to the lowest regions of earth, The friend of human-kind. We get the sympathy of Jesus Christ Under the pressures of a sad heart - He wept the tears as a flood; He is a Spouse and a Brother To every destitute, wounded poor one, He knows about our affliction. For strength to follow holy Jesus, At the journey's end we may swell the eternal Song unto Him: To praise him for His pure love, And the help had under many a blow, Shall be the delightful work of heaven.tr. 2016 Richard B Gillion |
