Yn nhŷ ein Duw clodforwn ef

(Annogaeth i foliannu Duw)
Yn nhŷ ein Duw clodforwn ef,
  Lle rhydd ei hedd a'i ras;
Dyrchafwn lais
    hyd byrth y nef
  Mewn hyfryd hwyl a blas.

Yn wiw deffroed pob nwyd a dawn
  I ganmol Duw'n ddilyth:
Ond rhyfeddodau gras yn llawn,
  Nis gallwn ddatgan byth.

De'wn a moliannwn Frenin hedd;
  Ei glod a seinio'n mhell:
Ond gydag ef, tu draw i'r bedd,
  Ni gawn ei foli'n well.
Peter Jones (Pedr Fardd) 1775-1845

Manchester (Robert Wainwright 1742-82)

(Encouragement to praise God)
In the house of our God let us extol him,
  Where he gives his peace and his grace;
Let us lift up a voice
    as far as the portals of heaven
  In a delightful mood and experience.

Worthily may every passion and gift awaken
  To acclaim God unfailingly:
But the wonders of grace fully,
  We cannot ever declare.

Let us come and praise the King of peace;
  His acclaim shall sound afar:
But with him, beyond the grave,
  We may get to praise him better.
tr. 2014 Richard B Gillion
