Yr eang faith ffurfafen fry

Yr eang faith ffurfafen fry,
Yr wybren lâs uwchben y sy,
  A'r nef serennog ddysglaer wiw,
  Sy'n datgan mawr ogoniant Duw.
Yr haul diflino o ddydd i ddydd,
Yn dangos gallu'i Grëwr sydd,
  Ac yn cyhoeddi drwy bob gwlad
  Weithredoedd Hollalluog Dad.

Pan ddel cysgodau'r hwyr ar led,
Y lloer ei hanes ryfedd dd'wed,
  O'i chreadigaeth i'r pryd hyn,
  Tra gwrendy'r ddaear arni'n syn.
Y tanllyd sêr o'i chwmpas hi,
A'r holl blanedau mawrion sy,
  Yn gwirio'r hanes yn eu taith,
  Trwy gonglau pell
      y ddaear faith.

Tra mewn dystawrwydd pur digoll,
Y troant yn eu cylchoedd oll,
  Ac er nad oes
      na llais na sain
  I'w glywed yn nghylchdeithiau rhai'n,
Yn nghlustiau rheswm llawenhant,
A seinio'n ogoneddus wnant,
  Mewn unol lef molianant Dduw,
  "Y llaw a'n gwnaeth un ddwyfol yw."

The wide, vast firmament above,
The blue sky which is overhead,
  And the starry heaven shining worthy,
  Is declaring the great glory of God.
The sun unwearying from day to day,
Showing the power of its Creator is,
  And publishing throughout every land
  The deeds of an Almighty Father.

When the shadows of evening come broadly,
The moon its wonderful story tells,
  From its creation to this time,
  While the earth listens to it astonished.
The fiery stars around it,
And all the great planets are,
  Confirming the story in their journey,
  Through the distant corners
      of the vast earth.

While in pure silence lost,
They turn in all their circles,
  And although there is
      neither voice nor sound
  To be heard in the circuits of those,
In the ears of reason they rejoice,
And sound gloriously they do,
  With a united voice they praise God,
  "The hand that made us is a divine one."
