Ysbryd yw Duw anfeidrol byw diball

Ysbryd yw Duw,
    anfeidrol, byw, diball;
Mewn gras, mewn grym,
    ei wneud 'does dim nid all;
  Gall wneuthur dyn
      sydd iddo'n elyn oll,
  Yn blentyn byw,
      i garu Duw'n ddigoll.

Duw, cariad oedd, -
    cyn nefoedd, ac yn awr;
Duw, cariad yw, -
    i ninau'n byw bob awr;
  Duw, cariad fydd, -
      Pen-llywydd mawr pob lle:
  Mewn gras, mewn grym,
      'does dim a'i newid E'.

    Duw cariad oedd cyn llunio nef na llawr

God is a Spirit,
    immeasurable, living, unfailing;
In grace, and force,
    there is nothing he cannot do;
  He can make the man
      who is the enemy of all,
  As a lively child,
      to love God unfailingly.

God, he was love, -
    before the fashioning of heaven or earth;
God, he is love, -
    to us living now;
  God, he will be love, -
      great Supreme Governor of every place:
  In grace, and force,
      nothing will change Him.
