Ysbryd Sanctaidd, disgyn
  O'r uchelder glān
Nes i'n calon esgyn
  Mewn adfywiol gān.

Arwain ein hysbrydoedd
  I fynyddoedd Duw,
Darpar yno'r gwleddoedd
  Wna i'r enaid fyw.

Dangos inni'r llawnder
  Ynddo ef a gaed,
Dangos inni'r gwacter
  Heb rinweddau'r gwaed.

Ysbryd Sanctadd, dangos
  Inni'r Iesu mawr;
Dwg y nef yn agos,
  Agos yma nawr.

Holy Spirit, descend
  From the holy height
Until our heart ascend
  In a reviving song.

Lead our spirits
  To the mountains of God,
Prepare there the feasts
  Which make the soul live.

Show us the fullness
  Which is got in him,
Show us the emptiness
  Without the merits of the blood.

Holy Spirit, show
  Us the great Jesus;
Bring heaven near,
  Near here now.
