Ysbryd yw yr Ior Anfeidrol

Ysbryd yw yr Ior Anfeidrol,
  Nas gall dyn ei weled ef;
Gwneyd cyff'lybiaeth o'i wir hanfod
  Byth nis gellir dan y nef;
Ei addoli raid mewn ysbryd
  Er cael nawdd y nef i'n rhan; -
I'th was'naethu mewn gwirionedd,
  Arglwydd, cymhorth f'enaid gwan.

A Spirit is the infinite Sovereign,
  Man cannot see him;
To make the likeness of his true essence
  Is never possible under heaven;
Worshipping him must be in spirit
  In order to get the support of heaven for our part; -
To serve thee in truth,
  Lord, the help of my weak soul.
