Clodfored pawb yr Arglwydd byw

(Moliant i'r Creawdwr)
Clodfored pawb yr Arglwydd byw,
  A'r unig Dduw anfarwol,
Anfeidrol, doeth, galluog, da,
  Trugarog a thrag'wyddol.

Y nefoedd fry, a'r ddaear hon,
  A'u holl drigolion rhyfedd,
Y moroedd mawr, a'r tiroedd maith,
  Y'nt gysson waith ei fysedd.

Trwy'r byd o'i fron, a'r wybren fry,
  Ei ddwyfol allu welir,
A'i fawr ddoethineb yn mhob màn
  Trwy'r cyfan a ganfyddir.

Fe luniodd ddyn yn berffaith dda,
  Mewn hardd sefyllfa ddedwydd;
A'r holl gysuron y'm ni'n gael
  Ynt roddion hael yr Arglwydd.

Rhyfeddol ac aneirif yw
  Gweithredoedd Duw'r Creawdwr;
Ond mwy rhyfeddol doniau rhad,
  A chariad yr Iachawdwr.

    Potsdam (<1875)

(Praise for the Creator)
Let everyone extol the living Lord,
  And the only immortal God,
Infinite, wise, mighty, good,
  Merciful and eternal.

The heavens above, and this earth,
  And all their wonderful inhabitants,
The great seas, and the vast lands,
  Are constantly the work of his fingers.

Through the whole world, and the sky above,
  His divine power is to be seen,
And his great wisdom in every place
  Throughout the whole is to be perceived.

He planned man as perfectly good,
  In a beautiful, happy situation;
And all the comforts we are getting
  They are generous gifts of the Lord.

Wonderful and innumerable are
  The works of God the Creator;
But more wonderful the free gifts,
  And love of the Saviour.
