Duw'r Tad, Mab a'r Ysbryd Glān.) Molianu Duw mawr; sydd hyfryd waith melys, Trwy'r nefoedd a'r llawr yn wir orfoleddus; Angylion y nef, a'u llef yn molianu: Preswylwyr y byd, gawn ninnau gyd ganu? Ryw glodydd diddiwedd, trag'wyddol Dduw hyfryd, Y Drindod fendigaidd, Tad, Mab, a Glān Ysbyrd. Creawdwr mawr yw, medd lluoedd gogoniant, Ein Harglwydd a'n Duw, boed iddo 'e yr moliant; Ein Ceidwad Iōr cu, molianu wnawn ninnau: Ein Tād, a'n Creawdwr, a Phrynwr eneidiau, Uwch galwad sy i ni, dan rwymau mwy hefyd, I glodfori Duw'n dri, Tad, Mab a Glān Ysbryd. Creawdwr yw ef, i angylion goleuni, Hyfrydwch y nef, mae'n wrthrych i'w foli; Fe hefyd wnaeth ddyn, ar ei lun a'i ddelw: 'Nol myn'd o hono'n gaeth, o'r nef daeth i'w gadw, Mwy achos sy'n awr, i ddyn roddi'i hollfryd, Ar foli Duw mawr, Tad, Mab, a Glān Ysbryd. Byd cydsin mwyn cu, pan ddelont i'r un man, I gyd i'r wlad fry, ceiff mawl Ies'i ddatgan; Er uched fydd cān, sancteidd-lan angylion, Fe drefnwyd telynau, mwy tanau, i blant dynion; Am achub y rhai, o dan wae a gofyd, Bydd moli didrai, Tad Mab, a Glān Ysbryd.Thomas Williams 1772-, Rhes-y-cae. |
God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.) To praise great God; is a sweet, delightful work, Throughout heaven and earth truly rejoicing; The angels of heaven, with their cry praising: Residents of the world, may we also sing together? Some unending praises, of a delightful, eternal God, The blessed Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. A great Creator is, say the hosts of glory, Our Lord and our God, to him be the praise; Our dear Lord and Saviour, let us too praise: Our Father, and our Creator, and a Redeemer of souls, Above a call that is to us, bound henceforth also, To extol God as three, Tad, Mab a Glān Ysbryd. A Creator is he, for angels of light, The delight of heaven, he is an object to be praised; He also made man, in his image and his likeness: After his going captive from that, From heaven he came to save him, More cause there is now, for man to put his whole mind, To praising great God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. There will be a dear, delighful chorus, when they come to the same place, Together to the land above, the praise of Jesus will get expressed; Although so high will be the song, of holy angels, Harps were arranged, of more strings, for the children of men; For saving those, under woe and grief, There will be unebbing praise, Of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.tr. 2017 Richard B Gillion |
