Myfi yw'r Arglwydd dyma f'enw

(Penderfyniad y Goruchaf - Esay xlii. 8,9.)
Myfi yw'r Arglwydd dyma f'enw,
  Ni chaiff arall o fy mawl;
'Does gan ddelwau mān cerfiedig
  I'm gogoniant unryw hawl;
Myfi sy'n gweled o'r dechredad,
  Ac yn traethu ddaw i ben;
Oll a fu, sydd, ac i ddyfod,
  Sydd i'm golwg heb un len.

Y pethau gynt a ddarfu'm addo,
  Yn eu dyddiad gym'rodd le;
Felly eto 'nol sy'n aros,
  'Nol bwriadau pur y ne',
Fyddant wedi'u llwyr gyflawni
  Yn eu hamser bob yr un,
Er pob rhwystrau ddichon godi -
  Digon i'm fy mraich fy hun.

(The decision of the Most High - Isaiah 42:8-9.)
I am the Lord; that is my name,
  No-one else shall get my praise;
None of the intricately carved idols have
  Any right to my glory;
It is I who am seeing from the beginning,
  And expounding what comes to pass;
All that was, is and is to come,
  Is visible to me without any veil.

The former things have vanished of my promise,
  In their date they took place;
So again according to what is remaining,
  According to the pure intentions of heaven,
They will be completely fulfilled
  In their time every one,
Although every possible obstacle rise -
  Sufficient to me my own arm.
