Crowbar
Half-life is a complicated place where a crowbar really comes in handy.Things like barrels,boxes,and crates can be pried open,smashed,or wrenched loose with the crowbar. |

You acquire the 9mm pistol early in the game.Although it might seem outdated as you aquire more technologically advanced weapons,don't forget about it : it's one of the few weapons that fires under water. |

Very effective at close range, with an amazingly powerful double shot for its secondary function. |
