~ Chapter 10 ~

Their luggage came about five minutes later.

"Well, we better get a move on if we want to tour the studio," Julie said being in charge.

"Ok, Ok, but we need to change first!" Renee told her feeling grimy from traveling.

They all got changed to different outfits. Renee was wearing a purple spaghetti strapped tank top, baggy jeans, her wallet chain, her ball-chained necklace, brown docs, and a "S8ER" cap. Ali changed into a green Glades Candles t-shirt (* don’t ask me why she wears stuff like that, I don’t even know!), khaki bongo shorts, black Airwalks, and she still had green streaks in her hair that were now braided. Annie sported a khaki shirt with stripes on the sides, baggy JnCo’s, her hair braided (*she always wears her hair braided so I just won’t tell you what her hair looks like unless it’s not, k!), her wallet chain, and a hemp necklace. Katey wore a red No Doubt t- shirt, blue jean shorts, green Airwalks, and a hemp necklace.

"I’m thirsty, lets go get some ice, I can’t have a drink without ice." Renee said, Ali following her.

On their way to get some, Renee and Ali saw two blond boys walking down the hall.

The taller one was wearing a navy long sleeved shirt and khaki pants, and the younger one was wearing a black shirt with white stripes on the sleeves and jeans. The older ones hair was pulled back in a little tail, and he had braces, like Renee.

Ali nudged Renee, and they both smiled even though they were kinda far away. They walked faster, but the two guys turned the corner.

"Lets have some fun and show off a little," Renee whispered grinning. "Start singing ‘Wannabe’ on the count of three and follow me."

Ali nodded.

"1,2,3. If you wanna be my lova!" Renee started as they turned the corner.

Both of the girl’s voices echoed down the hall catching both of the guy’s attention.

"If you wanna be my lova, you gotta stop sleeping wit my friends!" Renee teased, and both of them giggled flirtatiously while following the blondes.

Renee and Ali noticed that that boys were smiling and whispering to each other about something.

When all four of them reached the elevator, Renee and Ali stood there quietly, and the oldest boy, with darker blond hair asked,

"I like your version of that Spice Girl song better. Going up?"

"Thanx! Sure are!" Renee answered in her Indiana southern accent.

"Kewl beans!" Ali and the youngest one said at the same time. They looked at each other and both said, "Jinx!" Then, all four of them laughed.

"Anyway, my name is Isaac," the oldest one said as they calmed down.

"I’m Zac," said the littler one.

"I’m Ali, and this is my best bud Renee!" Ali said.

"Nice to meet you," Isaac said very nicely.

"Where ya from?" Zac asked.

"New Albany, Indiana, you?" Renee answered.

"Tulsa, Oklahoma," Isaac said.

"Cool," Renee replied.

"Nice meeting you!" Isaac said as the elevator door opened. "See ya around!"

Renee and Ali went to get the ice as they talked about how cool, and not to mention cute, those two boys were.

"Ready to go?" Julie asked after everyone had finished a coke or two.

"Sure am!" Renee replied.

They all went down to the limo and drove to the studio. When they got there, they all got out, and stretched.

"I’m sooo tired!" Katey said yawning.

"Ditto," Renee agreed.

When they got inside, Chrisso showed them all the neat equipment at the studio, and the place where they would be recording. After looking around Renee heard a familiar sound coming from a room down the hall.

"Hey, isn’t that that song we heard in Chrisso’s car, ‘MMMBop’ or something?" Ali asked Renee.

"Yeah! It is that Mmmbop song!" Renee exclaimed.

They both wondered off to where the sound was coming from. When they found it they just stood there in awe.

"They sound so good together," Renee said.

"Yeah," Ali agreed.

"Hey, isn’t that those two boys we saw in the elevator?" Renee asked.

"Yeah it is!" Ali answered.

"Wow their Hanson! That’s awesome!" Renee exclaimed.

"Yeah, and check out the middle one!" Ali said.

"That’s what I was thinking!" Renee said.

"He’s got a nice ass!"

They both laughed as they listened to their beautiful voices.

After a while the boys stopped playing and disappeared into a little door.

"Man! We didn’t get to meet him!" Renee said.

"Oh well, we are going to be here for a while, I’m sure we’ll see them some time," Ali answered.

"You’re right," Renee said, as they ran off to find their group. When they were done touring the studio, they went back to the hotel.

"I think I want to go for a swim!" Renee said.

" Who wants to go with me?"

"I will!" Ali, Katey, and Annie said at the same time.

"Ok, lets go!"

After they changed into their bikini’s (*well, Ali and Renee did. Annie and Katey just went down with them to relax) they headed to the pool. When they got there they stopped in their tracks. There were three handsome, long, blond haired boys goofing around in the pool. When they realized the girls were there they stopped and looked at them admiringly.

"Hi!" Isaac said.

" ‘Member us?" Zac interrupted.

"Well you haven’t met Tay. So Tay this is Renee, Ali, and her friends, and Renee, Ali, and your friends this is Taylor!" Zac said in one breath.

"Nice to meet you Taylor, this is Katey and Annie" Renee said.

"Hi!" he replied shyly, his cheeks turning a rose color.

"Well, are you going to join us?" Isaac asked.

"Yep!" Renee replied diving in as Ali did a flip into the water.

All three boys were impressed right off the bat.

Before either of the girls came up for air, Isaac whispered to Taylor, "See, I told you they were cool!"

When Ali pulled her head out of the water, she was face to face with Zac.

"Aaah!" she squealed surprised, "Sorry, you scared me!"

"Oh, sorry," he said blushing.

Then to repay him, she dunked his head in the water, and Ali, followed by Renee, swam over to Taylor.

"So, you made up that song ‘MMMBop’?" Renee asked trying to start a conversation.

"How’d you know?" Tay answered surprised.

"We were kinda watching you in the studio," Ali told him.

"Oh," he said, "and yes we did write it."

"It’s awesome!" Renee exclaimed observing his wet bod.

"Thanks," he answered blushing.

Then Zac and Isaac did big cannon balls into the water right next to Taylor and the girls.

"Hey! Excuse you!" Taylor exclaimed splashing his brothers.

Then, the three brothers started splashing around and goofing off. Ali and Renee swam over to Katey and Annie, who were lying on lawn chairs, listening to music.

"Why won’t you guys join us?" Renee asked.

"I don’t know, we just don’t wanna get wet," they both said.

After about an hour and a half, and when everyone was ready to go, they got out of the pool and dried off.

"Oh, yeah, we forgot to tell you, but Chrisso, I mean Chris Sabec is our manager also." Ali told them.

Renee added, "Our band name is Far From Reality."

"Cool," Taylor replied, "Maybe we can come to one of your rehearsals"

"Sure!" all four girls exclaimed.

"Well, we better go. Bye!" everyone said to each other as they headed for their room.
