" You’ll always be my little pretty . . . "

Long ago, on a plantation infamously known as the Crecelius Hotel Plantation, two girls wound up in a deal with death itself.

Persephany and her cousin, Seraphina, lived with their grandfather on a New Orleans farm back in the 19th century. Servants helped them manage the hotel and plantation while Persephany and Seraphina defended their grandfather from a rich and wealthy banker named Darion. This persistent fellow continued to pester the girls with bargains and nonprofit deals for handing the hotel and farm deeds over to him until one day they get fed up with him.

After making a deal with Darion’s associates, they plot to get Darion off their backs. But there’s a drawback, a flaw in their ultimate plan that Persephany was warned about in a dream, but decides to go with her cousin’s intuitions in which the plot takes a turn for the worst.

Then, as if it could get any worse, something unmistakable happens to the girls and no one can save them now except for one person. But will this new plan work? And can the girls trust their evil benefactor?
