In December of 1984 I travelled with a tour group to the P.T.L. Club in Carolina. On arriving my friend and I went to the Upper Room. It was between services and as I took in the simple beauty of the room, a replica of the first Upper Room in jerusalem, I began to weep and I knew that the Lord was touching me. A Pastor came to pray with us and in the midst of his prayer he stopped, looked at me and said, "You have spiritual fear...fear of speaking the Word the Lord has given you for His people", and prayed for me to be delivered from that fear. I found a quiet place and the Lord began to speak to me thus...
"My daughter, I have chosen you to be a spokesman, to give My Word unto My people. I admonish you to be faithful, to be obedient, to be ready to receive My Word at any moment. You must be cleansed of all unrighteousness, you must keep your heart and mind pure at all times in order to hear My voice.
I have brought you unto this place to break you, to show you who I am and that only by your utter dependence upon me can you come into that place where I desire you to be. My child, I have a work for you to do and I am preparing you for it. You have come through a time of doubting, of questioning My Word unto you but I would have you to know that every word came from Me. Now, I ask you to follow My direction, to return home and begin to study every word I have given you and begin to fulfil My instructions for your life.
You ask Me what to do about what has come to your attention today (the book "The Coming Food Crisis" by Frank Ford, picked up in the book store at P.T.L.) and I tell you, as I told you in the beginning...tell them, tell them, tell them. It will not be easy to tell them for many will not receive it from you, but My daughter, I shall be right beside you every moment. I shall sustain you as you are scoffed at, as you are persecuted in My name. I only ask you to give forth the Word that I give you, to shout it from the housetops and those whom I want to hear shall hear and be obedient.
I tell you, My child, the time of sorrows is nigh unto all the world. The time for the watchmen to come upon the wall is near and I am preparing my watchmen everywhere. The world is entering into the midnight hour and multitudes are still to be reached with the message of eternal life with Me. Yea, I say unto you, My daughter, tell My people everywhere to prepare for the tribulation times ahead. To prepare first of all spiritually...to come before Me with a repentant spirit, asking to be forgiven of all of their sins. To make physical preparation for war, for famine, for earthquakes, as foretold in My Word. I have given you detailed direction for that preparation and I shall send you forth to proclaim it to My people. I have not called all of My people to be as Joseph but those whom I have called shall awaken to that calling as you proclaim My message unto them.
My daughter, I ask for even more time spent with me, that you might be completely purged and cleansed. Great cleansing comes forth from the pages of My Word and time spent with Me in prayer. My daughter, put under your feet all doubt and fear...it is a lie of Satan and is not of Me. Commit your all unto Me and I shall set you free...free from all bondage and ready to serve Me fully."
So the messages about physical preparation for the last days came off the shelf. Shortly after my trip to P.T.L. I was visiting relatives in a nearby city when a friend, a pastor's wife, invited me to speak to her Bible study group. I was fearful at the thought of speaking and refused. She simply said, "Pray about it." That evening I sat down and attempted to compose some notes but all was confusion in my mind and I thought, "O good, the Lord doesn't want me to speak." I awoke early next morning and I heard the Lord saying...
"Yea, I say unto you, My daughter...
You have asked for direction and I shall give it unto you. Many times you have told Me you would be what I want you to be, do what I want you to do, go where I want you to go. Today I have opened a door unto you to speak My words unto My people and I desire that you walk through that door. Be not afraid, My child, for I will give you the words to speak. Just commit your self unto Me and trust Me."
I telephoned my friend and said, "The Lord has just told me to come and speak," and she answered, "Yes, I know, He just told me also." What a wonderful morning, no nervousness and peace in my heart. I had no idea what I would say and stated this when I was called upon but just began to give a little of my testimony which led into the messages from the Lord and the ones about the storage of food, which my friend had requested. Midway through my talk one of the ladies asked if she could interrupt and told how the Lord was showing her in visions how she is to prepare for end times, and she welcomed the confirmation. Another told how she had been buying food on sale and storing it and how she was riddled with guilt as she felt that she was hoarding. She also said that she felt that guilt leave as I spoke. From this experience I knew that I could speak forth His messages whenever He required me to do so. He has only sent me forth on one other occasion, also a friend asking that I speak to a group meeting in her home. I had refused twice but one morning in my time of devotions I was reading from "Streams in the Desert" the following...
Let us move on and step out boldly, though it be into the night, and we can scarcely see the way. The path will open, as we progress, like the trail through the forest, or the Alpine pass, which discloses but a few rods of its length from any single point of view. Press on! If necessary we will find even the pillar of cloud and fire to mark our journey through the wilderness."
I had just finished reading the last word when my telephone rang and it was my friend, asking again if I would come and speak and I was able to say a glad "Yes, I'm to come." Again I had peace in my heart and the group were very receptive. Sometimes I feel an urgency to get this message out but I keep ever in mind a prophecy spoken over me some time ago, "Do not attempt to open any door before you for I will open the doors."
Again in early 1987 I was privileged to travel with three friends to Carolina. Another friend had offered us the use of her town house, located five miles from Heritage, U.S.A. while she visited in Canada. We spent two weeks there and almost every day went in to P.T.L. and enjoyed the many events and seminars taking place there. One of the first places we visited was the Upper Room and almost immediately the Lord began to speak to me thus...
"My child, I brought you to the Upper Room (in Jerusalem two months previous) where I met with My disciples so long ago. I desired to speak with you there but because of the hustle and bustle you could not hear Me. I brought you there, my child, at a former time and at that time you were broken before Me with the knowledge of your sins. Then did I begin that cleansing and purging process that you are aware of even today and because of this you have grown much closer to Me. You have been endued with a burning desire to serve Me with your whole heart.
Beloved, I shall break you once more in this place so that in the midst of the sorrow and seeking in your heart you shall completely submerge your will with Mine. I am building My church and nothing that Satan can bring against it shall cause it to fall. I need the clean, shining vessels that have been broken in the fires of affliction and whom I have raised up as obedient servants, strong in faith and ready to march out for Me.
My child, you ask Me to speak to My people and so I shall...
My people, My people, My beloved people...come unto Me, come unto me with your hearts broken with sorrow for your sins. Come unto me with repentance and be washed in the blood of the Lamb...the Lamb that was slain for each one of you. Seek to stand before Me with your sins, which were as scarlet, made white as snow. I need you, my people, I need you to go into the highways and byways and bring the people into My kingdom. It is too late to tarry for as My servant (Philip Cameron, speaking at a Seminar at P.T.L) told you today, there are souls going to hell with your every breath. It is too late, My children, to let aught of the world distract you from what I want you to do and to say to those whom I wish you to tell about My saving grace.
My people, quench not My Spirit as it falls upon you, be ready to speak My words forth anytime, anywhere and you shall reap many souls for My kingdom. Multitudes are in the valley of decision, knowing not which way to turn and they must be reached for Me. Multitudes have been led into apathy because they have not been told the truth and they must be reached for Me. My little children, there is a real hell out there...there is a real Satan out there and you must know how to combat him so that you can teach others how to enter into spiritual warfare.
My people, you are as a sleeping giant...rise up, put on your armour and march forth to war. Do you not know the power I have given you over the evil one of this world?...the power I have given you over sickness and disease...power to bind up the brokenhearted...power to restore sight to the blind and power to resurrect the dead. Few of you even know the power that lies dormant within you because of My Holy Spirit who dwells within you. I say unto you, now is the time to go forth in that power and do what I did when I walked upon earth."
I knew that the Lord was touching me and doing a work within me but, as I looked around I saw my friends awaiting me and got up and left. However, I knew that I would come there another time and on a later day I felt the Lord drawing me again to the Upper Room where I slipped into one of the little prayer rooms. For the three hours that I remained there it was just as if the Lord Jesus stood in front of me, speaking to me...
"My child, I have brought you into this holy place to minister to you. Your heart is crying out to be set free of every encumbrance that burdens you, and so shall it be. I desire that you give Me your all, every vestige of your being, that I might use you fully in My work. It is only the completely committed of My people whom I can use to full advantage.
My child, doubt not My messages unto you, for in your doubting do you delay them from coming to fruition. The fulfilment of what I have given you for these last days may have seemed to be a long time in coming to pass, but I tell you, My child, without the preparation I have given you, you could not have handled what I shall ask you to do.
You have formed your little plan for a ministry touching the lives of hurting people and, My child, as with everyone who follows Me, you should stop and minister to those in need whom you encounter but, I tell you, that is not what I have been grooming you for.
Despite what so many believe, because of what they have been taught, that I shall remove them from all trials and tribulations, from famine, war and earthquakes, I tell you, My people shall be tried in the fires of tribulation and if they are to endure they must be prepared, first of all, spiritually and secondly in the physical realm. Many of My servants are ministering to the spiritual needs of My people and you also must receive all that you can from teachers who are truly bringing the teaching which I have given them. You, My child, have I called to minister to My people in the physical realm. Think ye that it is by accident that the reams of information on end time storage of food came into your possession...and the tools to turn out this material for My people?
As you return to your home again I desire that each day you seek me for your instructions for that day and only move as I direct you. Yea, there shall be famine in your land and My people must be awakened to the need to prepare for these events. Yes, I shall protect My people...even now am I preparing hiding places for them but, in order to multiply, as with the loaves and the fishes I desire storehouses in those places of refuge. O yes, I can provide manna from heaven, as I did for My people so long ago but I desire that My people today share in the preparation of the provision I am making for them.
You, My child, say, as did Moses of old, "But Lord, I cannot speak" but I tell you, when I send you forth to speak, My words shall flow forth from your mouth and you shall know they are not your own. You are anxious because of your mind, but I tell you that in an instant of time I can restore your mind and it shall be as clear as in the days of your youth. Be anxious no longer, just continue in My Word and as you do it is being stored in your mind for that day when you have need of it and I shall bring it forth. Begin to feed into your mind all the information which I shall bring to your attention so that I can bring it forth when needed.
I say unto you, run hither and thither no longer...only attend those events which I shall direct you to. You shall need much time in your prayer closet, much time in studying My Word as I accelerate the work I am doing in your life.
As you abide in this hallowed place do not yearn for another's experiences with Me, for have I not made each one of you individual and unique and to each one shall I give individual and unique experiences. Many would covet your experiences with Me, but I tell you, no ones' experiences are greater than anothers...all are as one in My sight. I am preparing the body of Christ and, as a puzzle each ones' work for Me shall fit together to form that perfect whole...each doing their own part to serve Me.
And now, My child, weep no more...rise up in newness of life...go forth in victory, knowing that I have touched you today...knowing that you shall receive My anointing and My power as you walk in obedience. You shall be ridiculed and scoffed at for your messages of end time preparation but do not fear for I shall uphold you...I shall keep you in peace...I shall guide your path. Just know, My child, that I am by your side and that your message shall reach those whom I have destined to hear it."
Fellow Christians everywhere, who are serving the Lord Jesus Christ, know ye that every word of encouragement He has spoken to me, He is desirous of speaking to you. I say unto you, listen, listen for His voice.
