CHAPTER SIXTEEN
THE LORD SPEAKS AT CHRISTMAS
Yea I say unto you, My people...
Once again the time has come to celebrate My birth in that lowly stable in Bethlehem, so long
ago. My Father sent Me, His only begotten Son, to be born of the virgin Mary, to live for a time upon earth and to die on the cross of Calvary, that each one of you might have eternal life. O My people, let not the cares of the world nor material things distract you from the true meaning of Christmas. Rejoice in the wonder and the glory of the celebration of My birth, searching the Scriptures and meditating on the story found therein. The story of Mary, My mother, so blessed of women, whom My Father chose as a vessel for My birth.
AND IN THE SIXTH MONTH THE ANGEL GABRIEL WAS SENT FROM GOD UNTO A CITY OF GALILEE, NAMED NAZARETH, TO A VIRGIN ESPOUSED TO A MAN WHOSE NAME WAS JOSEPH, OF THE HOUSE OF DAVID; AND THE VIRGIN'S NAME WAS MARY. AND THE ANGEL CAME IN UNTO HER, AND SAID, HAIL, THOU THAT ART HIGHLY FAVOURED, THE LORD IS WITH THEE: BLESSED ART THOU AMONG WOMEN. AND WHEN SHE SAW HIM, SHE WAS TROUBLED AT HIS SAYING, AND CAST IN HER MIND WHAT MANNER OF SALUTATION THIS SHOULD BE. AND THE ANGEL SAID UNTO HER, FEAR NOT, MARY: FOR THOU HAST FOUND FAVOUR WITH GOD, AND BEHOLD, THOU SHALT CONCEIVE IN THY WOMB, AND BRING FORTH A SON, AND SHALT CALL HIS NAME JESUS. HE SHALL BE GREAT, AND SHALL BE CALLED THE SON OF THE HIGHEST: AND THE LORD GOD SHALL GIVE UNTO HIM THE
THRONE OF HIS FATHER DAVID: AND HE SHALL REIGN OVER THE HOUSE OF JACOB FOREVER, AND OF HIS KINGDOM THERE SHALL BE NO END. THEN SAID MARY UNTO THE ANGEL, HOW SHALL THIS BE, SEEING I
KNOW NOT A MAN? AND THE ANGEL ANSWERED AND SAID UNTO HER, THE HOLY GHOST SHALL COME UPON THEE, AND THE POWER OF THE HIGHEST SHALL OVERSHADOW THEE: THEREFORE ALSO THAT HOLY THING WHICH
SHALL BE BORN OF THEE SHALL BE CALLED THE SON OF GOD.

NOW THE BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST WAS ON THIS WISE: WHEN AS HIS MOTHER MARY WAS ESPOUSED TO
JOSEPH, BEFORE THEY CAME TOGETHER, SHE WAS FOUND WITH CHILD OF THE HOLY GHOST. THEN JOSEPH HER HUSBAND, BEING A JUST MAN, AND NOT WILLING TO MAKE HER A PUBLIC EXAMPLE, WAS MINDED TO PUT HER AWAY PRIVILY. THEN JOSEPH BEING RAISED FROM SLEEP DID AS THE ANGEL OF THE LORD HAD BIDDEN HIM, AND TOOK UNTO HIM HIS WIFE: AND KNEW HER NOT TILL SHE HAD BROUGHT FORTH HER FIRSTBORN SON: AND HE CALLED HIS NAME JESUS.

Share with your children the wonder and glory of My birth. Share with them the true meaning
of Christmas that they not think only of the gifts and excitement. Let love be uppermost in all hearts this Christmas season. Let your eyes be opened to the needs of those around you and be willing to share with them of your plenty. Let your love flow freely to all those you meet for as you do unto them so also you do unto Me. Give of your substance to My work everywhere that you might store up treasures in heaven. Make this the most blessed Christmas ever by putting your worship of Me, your concern for the needy and your love for all people before
the pleasures of the world.
