CHAPTER THIRTY FOUR
THE LORD SPEAKS ABOUT REMEMBRANCE
THIS SECOND EPISTLE, BELOVED, I NOW WRITE UNTO YOU; IN BOTH WHICH I STIR UP YOUR PURE MINDS BY WAY OF REMEMBRANCE; THAT YE MAY BE MINDFUL OF THE WORDS WHICH WERE SPOKEN BEFORE BY THE HOLY PROPHETS, AND OF THE COMMANDMENT OF US THE APOSTLES OF THE LORD AND SAVIOUR: KNOWING THIS FIRST, THAT THERE SHALL COME IN THE LAST DAYS SCOFFERS, WALKING AFTER THEIR OWN LUSTS.
II PETER 3:1-3 KJV
My beloved people, just as with Peter so long ago, so also today do I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance. Remembrance of all you have been taught in My Word, spoken before by the
holy prophets, and of the commandment of My apostles. I must warn you, My people, that in these last days shall come scoffers who will do every evil deed they can think of and who will laugh
at My truths.
AND SAYING, WHERE IS THE PROMISE OF HIS COMING? FOR SINCE THE FATHERS FELL ASLEEP ALL THINGS CONTINUE AS THEY WERE FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE CREATION. FOR THIS THEY WILLINGLY ARE IGNORANT OF, THAT BY THE WORD OF GOD THE HEAVENS WERE OF OLD, AND THE EARTH STANDING OUT OF
THE WATER AND IN THE WATER: WHERE-BY THE WORLD THAT THEN WAS, BEING OVERFLOWED WITH WATER, PERISHED; BUT THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH, WHICH ARE NOW, BY THE SAME WORD, ARE KEPT IN STORE,
RESERVED UNTO FIRE AGAINST THE DAY OF JUDGMENT AND PERDITION OF UNGODLY MEN.
II PETER 3:4-7 KJV
They will argue that Jesus promised to return, but where is He? They will say that all things have remained the same since the time of creation. They choose to forget that by God's command the heavens and earth were created and that long after this God destroyed the earth in a mighty flood. By God's command, also, the heavens and earth that now are, are kept in store for that judgment day when fire shall consume them and ungodly men shall perish.
BUT BELOVED, BE NOT IGNORANT OF THIS ONE THING, THAT ONE DAY IS WITH THE LORD AS A
THOUSAND YEARS, AND A THOUSAND YEARS AS ONE DAY. THE LORD IS NOT SLACK CONCERNING HIS PROMISE, AS SOME MEN COUNT SLACKNESS, BUT IS LONGSUFFERING TO USWARD, NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH, BUT THAT ALL SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE.
II PETER 3:8,9 KJV
Beloved, be in remembrance that your timing is not My timing...that with Me a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day. I am not really slow in returning as some of you may think, and for this reason, that My Father does not wish that any should perish, but that all shall have eternal life. He is allowing more time that sinners might repent of their sins and be saved. O My people, reach out to sinners everywhere and tell them about eternal life which can only be found through Me.
BUT THE DAY OF THE LORD WILL COME AS A THIEF IN THE NIGHT; IN THE WHICH THE HEAVENS SHALL PASS AWAY WITH A GREAT NOISE, AND THE ELEMENTS SHALL MELT WITH FERVENT HEAT, THE EARTH ALSO AND THE WORKS THAT ARE THEREIN SHALL BE BURNED UP. SEEING THEN THAT ALL THESE THINGS SHALL BE DISSOLVED, WHAT MANNER OF PERSONS OUGHT YE TO BE IN ALL HOLY CONVERSATION AND GODLINESS, LOOKING FOR AND HASTING UNTO THE COMING OF THE DAY OF GOD, WHEREIN THE HEAVENS BEING ON FIRE SHALL BE DISSOLVED, AND THE ELEMENTS SHALL MELT WITH FERVENT HEAT.
II PETER 3:10-12 KJV
As the words of Scripture warns you the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night when the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, the sun, moon and stars will disappear in fire and the earth and all it contains will be destroyed. I tell you, My people, live holy and godly lives. Look forward to and yearn for that day.
NEVERTHELESS WE, ACCORDING TO HIS PROMISE, LOOK FOR NEW HEAVENS AND A NEW EARTH, WHEREIN DWELLETH RIGHTEOUSNESS, WHEREFORE, BELOVED, SEEING THAT YE LOOK FOR SUCH THINGS, BE DILIGENT THAT YE MAY BE FOUND OF HIM IN PEACE, WITHOUT SPOT, AND BLAMELESS. AND ACCOUNT THAT THE LONGSUFFERING OF OUR LORD IS SALVATION: EVEN AS OUR BELOVED BROTHER PAUL ALSO ACCORDING TO THE WISDOM GIVEN UNTO HIM HATH WRITTEN UNTO YOU; AS ALSO IN ALL HIS EPISTLES, SPEAKING IN THEM OF THESE THINGS; IN WHICH ARE SOME THINGS HARD TO BE UNDERSTOOD, WHICH THEY THAT ARE UNLEARNED AND UNSTABLE WREST, AS THEY DO ALSO THE OTHER SCRIPTURES, UNTO THEIR OWN DESTRUCTION.
II PETER 3:13-16 KJV
My people, you have much to look forward to for My Father promised a new heaven and
a new earth where only goodness shall abide. Again I tell you, My people, My Father is giving you all possible time to get the message of salvation out to all people before My coming. Paul
spoke in many of his epistles of the way of salvation and I urge you to study his words and seek to understand them. Many there be who are twisting the words of the Scriptures and interpreting
them to suit themselves which shall end in destruction for them, My people. As you ask for My discernment and revelation of the Scriptures so shall I give it unto you.
YE THEREFORE, BELOVED, SEEING YE KNOW THESE THINGS BEFORE, BEWARE LEST YE ALSO, BEING LED AWAY WITH THE ERROR OF THE WICKED, FALL FROM YOUR OWN STEADFASTNESS, BUT GROW IN GRACE AND IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. TO HIM BE GLORY BOTH NOW AND
FOREVER. AMEN.

Beware, My beloved people, of the pitfalls of the world that ye be not let astray by their
doctrines and philosophies. You have heard the truth, depart ye not from it but strive to grow in grace and knowledge of Me, which only can be found within the pages of My Word.
My people, you must not delay, for the time of My coming is very near. I know your hearts and the concern you have for the souls of those around you. Beloved, as you take that step of faith to reach out to others you shall feel My power welling up within you and My Words shall pour forth from you. Trust Me, My people, to guide and direct your path...trust Me in all things.
