Hearken, My children, unto My voice this day as I speak to you of the true meaning of Christmas. So many of you become so caught up with the world and the trappings of the season that you scarcely remember the origin of Christmas.

O My people, ponder the story of My birth in that lowly manger in Bethlehem. What if My Father had not sent Me to be born of a virgin, to live for a time upon earth and to die on that cross, that your sins might be forgiven and you would have eternal life with Me, that your bodies might be healed of all disease and infirmity.

O My people, cling to the reality of My birth, the glory of it, the angel proclaiming, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David, a Saviour, who is Christ the Lord." The multitudes of the heavenly host praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, good will toward men." The visit of the shepherds saying, "Let us now go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us." The coming of the wise men from the east saying, "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him."

Even as the world was engulfed in turbulence in the days when I was born, so also in this day is your world engulfed in turbulence. Do not allow your hearts to be troubled for My Father's will is being accomplished throughout the world. O, I do not tell you to sit back and do nothing for much will be required of you is these troubled times. You shall be My hands extended to all who sit in darkness. You shall be My feet to go where I want you to go. You shall be My eyes to see the needs that surround you. You shall be My ears to hear the cry of the troubled. You shall be My voice to instruct unbelievers in the way of salvation, to pray for the sick and to speak My words to My people.

My little children, I urge you to come into that place where you are walking in the Spirit, far above the sin and evil of the world and as you do so you shall begin to minister as I ministered when I walked upon earth.

Receive all strength and power and anointing as you worship Me this Christmas season. Release all ties to worldly activities of this time and receive the joy and peace I shall give you as you remember the real meaning of Christmas. In the midst of all the celebrating for the wrong reasons let My glory be seen in you for all to see.

My children, My little children...hearken unto the voice of the Lord this Christmas morning as you celebrate My birth in that lowly manger in Bethlehem, so long ago. My Father sent Me to earth to be born of Mary, to walk for a time among the people, to minister to them and then to suffer and die on the cross of Calvary. I took your sins upon Me for all time, that you might receive forgiveness and have eternal life with me. I took disease and infirmity upon Me for all time that everyone with faith to believe, might be healed.

Therein lies your hope, your only hope as you face this decade of destiny that lies ahead of you. My children, I have begun to move and this shall be the greatest move of My Spirit in the history of mankind. You shall see literally multitudes come into My kingdom across the length and breadth of your land and around the word. You shall see multitudes assemble together in crusades and all shall be saved and healed of their diseases. You shall see multitudes with addictions instantly set free and filled with a desire to follow Me. You shall see the wealth of the world redistributed so that no longer shall there be those who hunger and live in poverty. I have long been preparing My people for this day and you shall go forth with My love flowing through you as I use you as a channel for My love.

The approaching new year shall be a time of new beginnings as I bring into being all things that I have prepared for My people. You shall go forth with great power and boldness and shall reap a great harvest in the mighty move of God which has begun. Wonders and miracles shall follow you, such as has never been seen before.

O yes, Satan is alive and well and will bring some horrendous attacks against My people but you shall be victorious over all the wiles of the enemy. I am teaching My people everywhere how to come against the enemy in the spiritual realm and have victory over all his forces.

O My people, as this Christmas day dawns, rejoice, rejoice and go forward with peace and joy in your hearts, knowing that I am leading you into battle, that I am guiding you into the greater things I have for you.

Be in remembrance of the message the angel of the Lord brought to the Shepherds on that first Christmas morn...

So be it, even today.
