Humble Yourselves And Pray

A word from the Lord heard on Feb. 8/06

My precious people, My chosen ones, I desire to speak to you today about prayer....
~ Prayer for the lost.
~ Prayer for families and friends.
~ Prayer for healing for the sick.
~ Prayer for your government and your country.
~ Prayer for the disasters of tribulation destined to continue around the world.
~ Prayer for every need.

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (2 Chron.7:14)

My people, I am calling you to prayer such as you have never known before. The need to pray without ceasing is much greater than ever before. Do you not know that the fervent prayers of My people can turn back the wind and the rain and the storms which are destined for your land. Do you not know that as you fervently pray great miracles shall manifest according to your prayers. As you pray for souls to be won for Me you shall see multitudes seek Me as their Savior. As you pray for the sick to be healed you shall see ALL for whom you pray, instantly healed, as they were when I walked upon earth and prayed for the sick.

O, My people, have I not given you a blueprint in Scripture for your Christian walk with Me?....

So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them; if prophecy, let us prophesy according to our faith. (Rom. 13:5,6)

Beloved, pray to exhibit the gift that is in you.

...or ministery, let us use it in our ministering, he who teaches in teaching, he who exhorts, in exhortation, he who gives with liberality; he who leads with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

Beloved, pray that each of you in your ministry operate in the Gifts of the Spirit with My anointing upon you.

Let love be without hypocrasy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preferance to one another. (Rom. 13:9,10)

Beloved, pray that you will have love for one another and that you put others ahead of yourself.

...not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation. continuing steadfastly in prayer. (Rom. 13:11,12)

Beloved, pray that you will exhibit these qualities as you serve Me, especially that you be steadfast in prayer.

....distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality. Bless those who persecute you, bless and do not curse. (Rom. 13,14)

Beloved, pray for the poor and that you be mindful of their needs. Do not let your anger rise against those who persecute you but rather pray for them.

Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. (Rom 13:15,16)

Beloved, pray that you be able to minister to others, whether in their rejoicing or in their weeping. Pray to be humble and seek out the humble for fellowship. Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought.

Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. (Rom. 13:17,18)

Beloved, pray that you not have unforgiveness against another but rather that you forgive. Pray for your neighbor and live peaceably with him. Be diligent in prayer for all your needs and the needs of others. Pray that as you regard My words of direction for your life that your life will be changed.

O, My precious children, may your prayers ever become more powerful.
