The Day Of The Lord Is At Hand
My precious people, I am speaking to you today as I spoke to the prophet, Joel, so long ago...
Alas for the day! For the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as destruction from the Almighty. Is not the food cut off before our eyes, joy and gladness from the house of our God? The seed grain shrivels under the clods, storehouses are in shambles; barns are broken down, for the grain has withered. (Joel 1:15-17)
O, My people, hear the words which I speak to you today. Yes, they are words of warning of what shall come to pass in the world. Have I not told you there will be wars and rumors of wars, famines, pestilences and earthquakes in various places. I say unto you....
Now, therefore, says the Lord, turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping and with mourning so rend your heart, and not your garments; return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness, and He relents from doing harm. (Joel 2:12,13)
My children, I am calling you to come to Me in the midst of your trials, come and lay your sins at the foot of the cross and receive My forgiveness. Yes, I am gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness. Try Me, My beloved people, and see if I will not guide you safely through these difficult times. See if I will not bring you into a time of new beginnings in your lives, a time of ministering for Me. My people, you are living in the latter days and what the prophets of old foretold to happen in the last days shall surely come to pass.
And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions; and also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. (Joel 2:28,29)
My children, are you not seeing this Scripture being fulfilled in the present days. Yes, I am pouring out My Spirit on all flesh the world over and many are receiving it with thankful hearts and many are rejecting it, to their sorrow.
My children, you are seeking My plan and purpose for your lives. I say unto you....
Put in the sickle for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down; for the winepress is full, the vats overflow...for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. The sun and moon will grow dark, and the stars will diminish their brightness. (Joel 3:13-15)
What is the "Day of the Lord," you may be asking. "The Day of the Lord" refers to a time of great tribulation in the world. My people, hearken to My words of warning. Indeed, tribulation shall increase around the world but as you are obedient in seeking My will for you and putting it into action, then I shall watch over you and direct your paths in what I am calling you to do.
Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart. (Jer. 24:7)
My precious ones, fear not at what is coming upon the world. Trust in Me with all your hearts and I shall direct your paths. I shall use you in the endtime harvest in ways you have not dreamed of and your harvest for Me shall be very great.
