Refrain Your Tongue From Evil

Word from the Lord heard on June 13/06

My precious ones, I say unto you today...

He who would love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking guile. Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
(1 Peter 3:10-12)

My beloved people, it is My desire to teach you the great power contained in the tongue, power for good or for evil according to what you speak forth. I would admonish you to consider your words before you speak them forth....
~ Will your words bring hurt to those to whom you speak them?
~ Are your words always truth?
~ Will your words bring evil into being?
~ Will your words destroy your peace?
~ Will the words of your mouth speak love to others?

My people, contemplate much on what your tongue is speaking forth.

Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature and it is set on fire by hell.
(James 3:5,6)

I am grieved by what proceeds out of the mouths of some of My people. I tell you, you may forfeit great blessings which I have destined for you, by what you speak forth from your mouth. I council you to guard the words of your mouths and determine to allow only positive faith filled words to come forth and you shall receive great blessings from Me. You are so prone to speak words of criticism of others, to speak complaining words, to speak unkind words. Trust in Me, My children and I shall help you to guard the words that come forth from your mouth. Pray for those whom you perceive speaking evil of anyone.

But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
(James 3: 8-10)

I love you, My people, and it is My desire that you not sin with your tongue. I have abundant blessings to pour out upon you but I cannot do this so long as you display an unruly tongue, speaking forth guile to those with whom you speak. Rather, My children, speak forth My Words, claim My great and precious promises, for yourself and for those for whom you pray. You have no conception of the power and anointing this will bring upon you.

~ Pray healing Scriptures when you pray for the sick.
~ Pray salvation Scriptures when you pray for the people to receive Me as Savior.
~ Pray the Praise Scriptures to bring you into My presence.

You shall surely come into a deeper walk with Me as you seek Me with all your heart, guarding the words of your mouth and praying My Word unto Me.
