I would speak to you today about spiritual gifts. As you are endued with My Holy Spirit and He comes to indwell you My spiritual gifts are available for you.
NOW THERE ARE DIVERSITIES OF GIFTS, BUT THE SAME SPIRIT. THERE ARE DIFFERENCES OF MINISTRIES, BUT THE SAME LORD. AND THERE ARE DIVERSITIES OF ACTIVITIES, BUT IT IS THE SAME GOD WHO WORKS ALL IN ALL. BUT THE MANIFESTATION OF THE SPIRIT IS GIVEN TO EACH ONE FOR THE PROFIT OF ALL; FOR TO ONE IS GIVEN THE WORD OF WISDOM THROUGH THE SPIRIT, TO ANOTHER THE WORD OF KNOWLEDGE THROUGH THE SAME SPIRIT, TO ANOTHER FAITH BY THE SAME SPIRIT, TO ANOTHER GIFTS OF HEALING BY THE SAME SPIRIT, TO ANOTHER THE WORKING OF MIRACLES, TO ANOTHER PROPHECY, TO ANOTHER DISCERNING OF SPIRITS, TO ANOTHER DIFFERENT KINDS OF TONGUES, TO ANOTHER THE INTERPRETATION OF TONGUES. BUT ONE AND THE SAME SPIRIT WORKS ALL THESE THINGS, DISTRIBUTING TO EACH ONE INDIVIDUALLY AS HE WILLS. (1 Cor. 12:4-11)
My children, seek the infilling of My Holy Spirit and receive My power for your ministry. As I prepare you to minister in the area I have purposed for you I shall also give you the gift or gifts I have chosen for you, according to the workings of your ministry. No one gift is any more important than another so do not allow envy or division to come upon you regarding your gifts.
There are many who negate the Gifts of the Spirit, believing that they were only for the early church and ended long ago but My Word is explicit that they are for today also. Indeed, were it not for the power contained in the Gifts of the Spirit many of you would not be where you are in your walk with Me. Each of you, My people, will operate in the gift or the gifts I have chosen for you. Some of you may operate in several gifts which shall come into being as needed.
The Gifts of the Spirit are an important part of every ministry I establish. How much more powerful are your prayers for the lost or whatever when the gifts of wisdom and of knowledge are in operation, revealing to you the needs of the one you are praying for. The gift of faith needs to be evident as you pray for healing and for miracles. The gift of prophecy brings encouragement to those who hear, especially for unbelievers who will know it is I who am speaking to them. All My people need to seek the gift of discerning of spirits so they will recognize the voice of the enemy. Another gift is different kinds of tongues and their interpretation. This also brings encouragement to My people and draws unbelievers to Me.
O My people, do not turn away from My gifts but rather use them to minister to all whom you meet and win them for My kingdom. Be ever mindful of...
EVEN SO YOU, SINCE YOU ARE ZEALOUS FOR SPIRITUAL GIFTS, LET IT BE FOR THE EDIFICATION OF THE CHURCH THAT YOU EXCEL. (1 Cor. 14:12)
My children, do not seek to excel in spiritual gifts to get puffed up in the sight of others but rather be humble and rejoice in the opportunities to bring joy and peace into the hearts of others.
