Many of you are enduring much suffering and you are asking, 'Why are You allowing suffering to come upon Me?' My little children, it is as you suffer that I test your faith in Me...your faith to believe what My Word says about healing, faith to believe that I have all things everywhere under control and that My plan and purpose for you shall evolve in your life, faith to believe that out of your suffering you shall grow and mature in your knowledge of Me, knowing that I am equipping you to serve Me in a greater way.
I have another reason for allowing My people to suffer....
BLESSED BE THE GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, THE FATHER OF MERCIES AND GOD OF ALL COMFORT, WHO COMFORTS US IN ALL OUR TRIBULATION, THAT WE MAY BE ABLE TO COMFORT THOSE WHO ARE IN ANY TROUBLE, WITH THE COMFORT WHICH WE OURSELVES ARE COMFORTED BY GOD. FOR AS THE SUFFERINGS ABOUND IN US, SO OUR CONSOLATION ALSO ABOUNDS THROUGH CHRIST. (2 Cor. 1:3-5)
Beloved, how can you minister to suffering people unless you yourself have known similar suffering? Then you will be able to understand their suffering and share your testimony of how I ministered to you in the midst of your trials.
THE SPIRIT HIMSELF BEARS WITNESS WITH OUR SPIRIT THAT WE ARE CHILDREN OF GOD, AND IF CHILDREN THEN HEIRS....HEIRS OF GOD AND JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST, IF INDEED WE SUFFER WITH HIM, THAT WE MAY ALSO BE GLORIFIED TOGETHER. FOR I CONSIDER THE SUFFERINGS OF THIS PRESENT TIME ARE NOT WORTHY TO BE COMPARED WITH THE GLORY WHICH SHALL BE REVEALED IN US. (Rom. 8:16-18)
My children, know that I suffer with you in everything that you endure. Know that in the midst of your suffering I am bringing you into a more intimate relationship with Me. I am cleansing you from all sin and preparing you to stand pure and holy before Me, ready to move out in ministry for Me. In the midst of your suffering shall My glory be evident in you.
If your suffering is in your body I suggest that you search My Scriptures for evidence of My healing ministry while I dwelt upon earth. Even as in the simple way that I prayed for the sick in those far off days so may you pray for the sick today and see them healed.
There are many avenues to My healing power for I minister in diverse ways to bring healing. Of utmost importance is that you ask in faith, believing that My healing power is available for you. In this Scripture is found admonition for one method of healing...
IS ANYONE AMONG YOU SUFFERING? LET HIM PRAY. IS ANYONE CHEERFUL? LET HIM SING PRAISES. IS ANYONE AMONG YOU SICK? LET HIM CALL FOR THE ELDERS OF THE CHURCH, AND LET THEM PRAY OVER HIM, ANOINTING HIM WITH OIL IN THE NAME OF THE LORD. AND THE PRAYER OF FAITH WILL SAVE THE SICK, AND THE LORD WILL RAISE HIM UP. AND IF HE HAS COMMITED SINS HE WILL BE FORGIVEN. (James 5:13-15)
O My people, do not despise your suffering. Just know that in the midst of it I am with you, loving you and caring for you. In My timing I shall raise you up to proclaim My healing upon you.
