Even as Paul spoke to the Thessalonians so long ago so do I speak unto you today....
...and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure. (2 Thess. 1:3b, 4)
O My people, you are indeed suffering persecution and tribulation in the world as the day of My coming grows ever closer. The enemy knows that his days of battle with My precious people grows short and so he has renewed his efforts against you. However, you are learning to stand strong against him with patience and faith in Me.
...and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flowing fire, taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power. (2 Thess. 1:7-9)
My little ones, does not this Scripture give you great motivation to ensure that you are walking in right standing with Me and that you are being obedient to My Word?
Now brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you not to be soon shaken or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition. (2 Thess. 2:1-3)
O My people, I urge you to be on guard against the many false prophets who have gone forth and are speaking many untruths to My people, who are prophesying lies about My people. Discard their words and believe only in My Word.
But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth to which He called you by our Gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Thess. 1:13,14)
What a glorious promise is yours, My people. Know that indeed I have chosen you, by the Gospel, to obtain My glory.
Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions you were taught, whether by word or by our epistle. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work. (2 Thess. 2:15-17)
My precious people, do not allow the enemy to harrass you or draw you away from Me. Stand boldly, holding to your faith and the teaching you have received, knowing that I love you and give you good hope by My grace. Be comforted and continue in My Word and in serving Me.
I am coming soon and there are still a multitude of people to be led into My kingdom. Be bold in sharing with all whom you meet, the truth of how to have eternal life with Me. Do not procrastinate because it could be a matter of life and death to those around you.
