The day of celebration approaches....the celebration of My birth in the lowly manger in Bethlehem. My parents were not able to get room in the Inn and so they were forced to spend the night in the stable where I was born. What a glorious night it was when an angel appeared before the shepherds who were watching their flocks by night, and the angel said to them...
Do NOT BE AFRAID, FOR BEHOLD, I BRING YOU GOOD TIDINGS OF GREAT JOY WHICH WILL BE TO ALL PEOPLE. FOR THERE IS BORN TO YOU IN THE CITY OF DAVID, A SAVIOR, WHO IS CHRIST THE LORD. (Luke 2:10,11)
AND SUDDENLY THERE WAS WITH THE ANGEL A MULTITUDE OF THE HEAVENLY HOST PRAISING GOD AND SAYING: "GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST, AND ON EARTH PEACE, GOOD WILL TOWARD MEN!" (Luke 2:13,14)
And the shepherds came to visit Me in the stable.
Now after I was born in Bethlehem wise men came from the east to worship and to present gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. A great star in the east had guided them to the place where I was.
The wicked King Herod meant me harm but an angel of the Lord came to Joseph in a dream and told him to take My mother and I to Egypt where we would be safe from Herod. And so we sojourned in Egypt until the time of Herod's death when we were able to return to the land of Israel and dwelled in Nazareth.
This is the story of My birth so long ago. So many, and even some of My people, fail to remember that Christmas is really the celebration of My birth. They allow the worldly things of Christmas, the shopping for gifts, the decorations, the many events that do not glorify Me, to take priority over spending time in My Word and in prayer.
O My people, your world is fast sliding into great sin and evil, not unlike Sodom and Gomorrah when I destroyed them. Beloved, I am calling you to pray as you have never prayed before, for it is only the prayers of My people that will move My hand to pour out My Spirit over the world to draw the people out of sin and into My kingdom. The evils of witchcraft are being introduced, even to your little children and unless it is broken over them and they are set free they shall be lost indeed.
The enemy is introducing many sources of evil, even to parents and they are being taken in by it. I have told you in My Word of many events to take place in the last days and I urge you to study these passages and learn what is prophesied for those days. O yes, My people, I shall watch over you and care for you in the midst of tribulation but I desire that you serve Me by reaching out to the multitudes who have not committed their lives unto Me and tell them of their great need for a Savior and how to receive Me into their hearts. My Father does not wish for anyone to perish so it is imperative that you witness to them at once. Time is of an essance as I am coming soon, much sooner than you think and everyone needs to have the opportunity either to reject or accept Me as their Savior.
At this Christmas season take time to contemplate on how many are travelling on that wide road that leads to hell and allow a burning desire in your hearts to lead them onto the narrow road that leads to Me.
