A kind request :
Many of the tamil poems will be english-transliterated ones.
This is for convinience of those who dont have tamil fonts, rather
can't install them. Kindly co-operate.

You might have noticed my tryst with words at the firstpage itself.. But more than me penning things, now a days I have developed myself more as a lover of poems not necessarily I write..

Here are some of my heart-throbs (NOT written by ME)

mugamoodigalai aniya muyanru
mugathai izhappatha?
mugamoodigali vida
enthah mugamum azhagu thaan!
mudivai patri kavalai illai,
mugathai thedum muyarchi ithu!
karaiilirunthu kadalai parthu engi irunthen,
kadalukkul irangi azham kana pogiren.
muthedukka muyanru madinthalum paravayillai,
kadalodu kalantha antha sila nimidangal pothum!

You might have heard of HAIKU ...
There is also another breed called SCIFAIKU
Which is nothing but a haiku with science fiction
as the theme ... One more form called RENGA is
is also there..This resembles the tamil's traditional
form of poetry called "Andhathi". where each verse starts
with the last syllable(s) of the previous verse..
The only difference being each verse in the renga is written by
a different poet..Sort of write one and pass it on..
