- John 3:16
- For God so loved the world that He gave His only
begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not
perish but have everlasting life.
Why do we need someone to pay the price for our sins? Am I
that bad?
- Romans 3:23
- For all have sinned and come short of the glory
of God.
- Romans 6:23
- For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of
God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Well, how can I get Jesus to pay the price for my sins so
that I can have everlasting life in Heaven?
- Romans 10: 9 & 10
- tells us that if we will ask Jesus to
forgive us from our sins and if we will believe in our
hearts that Jesus is the son of God; and that God has
raised him from the dead that we shall be saved.
Verse 13 of Romans chapter 10 says: For whosoever
shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
This means that anyone who wants to have eternal life in
Heaven can, if they will follow God's word and ask Jesus to
come into their hearts and forgive them from sin.
This is certainly for all of us.
