Arlington Road is great movie for those who have a taste for paranoia. Jeff Bridges plays a college professor Michael Faraday whose FBI agent wife is killed. He becomes obsessed with the terrorism and its subculture. When his new neighbors, Oliver and Cheryl Hunt (Tim Robbins and Joan Cusack) move into the neighborhood with their three children, Michael gains strength and hope as his son has new friends and he starts dating another woman.
Michael begins to suspect something is up with his new neighbors as he discovers their quirks. He is never quite sure if he is simply paranoid, or if the Hunts are not who they say they are.
This is a different role for Joan Cusack. In the past she has always taken the role as a funny supporting lady. In this serious role, Joan's superior talents leave us wondering about her own motivations. Is she just a loving wife and mother?
