Proverbs 22:6
" Train up a child in the way he
should go; and when he is old, he
will not depart from it."

A Special Place

When I was just a little child,
And used to go to school.
We said the Pledge of Allegiance,
And learned the Golden Rule.

Today in schools just like mine,
The pledge is no longer there.
The Golden Rule isn't taught,
And you don't say the Lord's Prayer.

But there are special schools now,
If you don't like what you see,
Where there are people who teach children,
How things really ought to be.

They are schools where the Bible,
Is the top book on the list,
And your children can begin to learn,
Of the good things that they've missed.

They're a place where you can send them,
And you know they'll learn the truth.
Where everything that they are taught,
Can be backed up with proof.

They are very special places to learn,
And have very special names.
They are schools to be proud of,
And never be ashamed.

Other schools may come and go,
But they are here to stay,
This country needs it's Christian schools,
Like the ones we have today.
