Around the World

TELL THE PEOPLE

There are many different people, in this big world of today,
And a lot of occupations across the U.S.A.
Each person has a separate goal that each hopes to succeed,
And lots of different things each one thinks they need.

Some want great big houses and some want brand new cars,
Some want lots of money or to be like movie stars.
Some just are not happy unless they have a lot,
Others can be quite content with the little that they've got.

Some of them are young and strong and some of them are old,
Some of them are called "Black Sheep" and some do as they're told.
But there's one thing in common that each of these folks need,
It really makes no difference in their life style or their creed.

It really doesn't matter what each of them has done,
Or where they have to go at night when their day is done.
All of them need someone to tell them they are loved.
And that no one loves them more than the FATHER up above.

They need to know salvation is just a prayer away,
And if they really mean it CHRIST can be theirs today.
They need to know HE died for them to set their spirits free,
And that only by believing can they live eternally.

Each one of us can tell them of the blood shed by our LORD,
Then all of us can live in peace with one world where GOD'S adored!
 
 

A SINNER'S PRAYER

Oh, LORD, forgive all the sins,
I've committed against THEE I pray.
I can't stand to look in the mirror,
For they keep getting worse every day.

My friends say that I'm really crazy,
For kneeling down here on my knees.
Come into my heart, give my life a new start,
Dear JESUS, I'm begging YOU, please!

I want YOU to take charge of my life,
And be with me wherever I go.
When the devil is near, YOUR voice let me hear,
YOUR will for my life let me know.

Oh, LORD, I'll thank YOU forever,
For washing my sins all away.
I'm making a vow as a new creature now,
That I'll serve YOU, dear LORD, every day.
