I
WAS THE ONE!
I was one
of the chosen few, I knew HIM as a man.
HE took
me with HIM everywhere, as part of a master plan.
I witnessed
HIS many miracles and the power of HIS touch,
I ate with
HIM and prayed with HIM and HE loved me very much.
I was at
HIS last supper and i watched as HE washed my feet.
And i listened
as HE told us of the food we were about to eat.
I was there
when HE told Peter that he'd deny HIS name,
I saw the
look on Peter's face and the tears he shed in shame.
I held my
breath in disbelief when HE pointed out to me,
That what
I'd do was just as bad as what Peter's sin would be.
My greed
would overcome me; thirty silver coins the price.
The one
that I'd kiss upon the cheek would be the one called CHRIST.
I went to
HIM in the garden, just after HE had prayed,
And with
the kiss of death, my MASTER I betrayed.
My guilt
was overwhelming as soldiers took HIM away,
I gave
them back their silver and hanged myself that day.
THE
JUDGEMENT
Up from
the smoke and fires of HELL; three figures appeared at the gate.
Their faces
were twisted in agony and bore the mark of their fate.
The first
was a man once wealthy, who prospered through lies and deceit.
He swindled
and cheated his neighbors and walked with the very elite.
He gave
no poor man his money, nor shared his room for the night,
With a
tired and weary traveler, who stopped to ask for a bite.
The second
was a woman of beauty, who once was a great star renown.
She starred
in the greatest pictures wearing only the sheerest of gowns.
Her face
and figure were perfect in every respect she believed,
On her
desk were many offers for starring roles she'd received.
The third
was a man of fortune, who gambled away all he had.
His children
and wife went hungry and he beat them when he was mad.
He hated
the people around him and caused trouble wherever he went.
He begged
and he stole and he borrowed, until he had lost every cent.
They came
to tell you their stories and their choices that lead to their fate.
They realized
the error of their ways, but for them it was one day too late.
Into the
smoke and fires of HELL, the three figures now return.
Their choices
are now gone forever, the judgement; FOREVER TO BURN!
