RPG's have finally become more common on the N64. And many big companies have made sure of it. Konami, Rare, Nintendo, Natsume, and Kemco. Let's hope they continue.
There's a lot more puzzle games, too. Two Tetris games, a few Tetris-like games, and a whole bunch of action-puzzles, like Lode Runner 3-D and Quest Fantasy Challenge. The best action games are usually the best "overall" games. Jet Force Gemini and Donkey Kong 64 are obvious winners in this category. But is it a surprise that Ubi Soft's original and unique Rocket: Robot on Wheels is included as well? No, the game is superb. Two golf games? Yeah, and number three is a racing game. (Like we need more, huh?) But these three games are among the best of the year, hands down. By the way, All-Star Baseball 2000 was very close. |
