The bulk of RPG's in 2000 were for Game Boy Color. It seems that the Nintendo 64 didn't get as many RPG's as everyone wanted, but there are at least two big N64 RPG's this year, Paper Mario and Aidyn Chronicles, to look forward to.

What ever happened to Killer Instinct, Mortal Kombat, and Street Fighter? Last year, fighting games consisted of a bunch of TV-based games. The only sequel was Fighter Destiny 2.

The sequel to Tetris Attack really pleased a lot of people: Pokemon Puzzle League and the Game Boy Color version Pokemon Puzzle Challenge. Capcom's Magical Tetris Challenge was the only Tetris "clone" last year. One of the puzzle games to look forward to this year is Dr. Mario 64.

Not many 1st-Person Shooters last year, but I'm sure a lot people think the Perfect Dark is one of the best of them.

There usually aren't a lot of action/adventure games. A game in this category is an adventure game, like Zelda, with a lot more action-elements in it. Big action/adventure games include Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, and Donkey Kong 64.
