The Indian Creek Valley Railroad
Photo Gallery #3

Here are some photos from August of 2000 to show the flowers in bloom.

The railroad mowing crew had their hands full taking care of the alysum!

This is a couple of photos showing the covered bridge under construction in the Spring of 2001.

The finished covered bridge on my table.

There are 973 hand split scale cedar shakes on the roof. They are cut from real shingles that came off of the Bell's Ford Covered Bridge.

I planted 9 Dwarf Alberta Spruce trees this Spring. They are trimmed to look like various types of trees.

I also redid the stream.

Here is the finished thru-truss bridge. It is 45" long and will cross the fish pond. Both bridges are built as real miniature truss bridges with the trusses supporting the load.

Here I am installing the trestle which will carry the track up to the bridges.

Each trestle bent is resting on a piece of buried cut landscape timber to give it a solid base.

The bridges in place and the trestle under construction.
