Since an early age, he has been interested in and studying Seymour and Jackson County history, but it wasn’t until about 8 years ago that he combined the two. That year he created his own Christmas card, which featured a pen & ink drawing of a winter scene of the Bell Ford covered bridge. As other people saw these cards, they started asking if they could purchase copies of it from him, and a new business, Kevin Greene, Artistic Impressions, was born. He now offers for sale 5”x 7” and 8” x 10” prints of 28 different local historic structures, including the covered bridges, round barns, railroad stations, hotels, and many more. The prints are printed on parchment paper and are ready to be framed. He also has for sale 1870’s maps of Jackson and Bartholomew Counties, which he has drawn. He can custom frame and mat artwork to your liking.

One area that has kept Kevin busy with his artwork is doing custom pen & ink sketches of homes for people. He can also colorize the prints with watercolor paints. Over the last five years his artwork has been featured on the Seymour Heritage Foundations historic homes tours, and the Bartholomew County historic homes tours. His photography has appeared in the nationally distributed fine arts photography magazine SHOTS, and has been featured recently on 3 CDs.
