Ewing Covered Bridge

The Ewing covered bridge opened for traffic on January 13, 1870. It was built by J. J. Daniels and was a Howe truss design. This bridge was tore down and replaced with a concrete bridge in 1970. It was located about one mile northwest of Brownstown on Ewing Road and was 350’ in length. It spanned the East Fork of White River.
