Redding Elementary School
In 1953, schools in Seymour, Redding, and Jackson townships were consolidated. With the consolidation came the construction of Seymour Redding and Seymour Jackson elementary schools, which were completed in 1955. Washington township was added to the Seymour school system in 1963, and Hamilton township in1964, and both Redding and Jackson schools were added on to. Both schools are being replaced with new schools in the year 2003.
