OLYMPIAN ONLXB/1R

There are only 3 Olympians of the ONLXB/1R variant in Singapore. The buses have a Northern Counties bodywork with an overall length of 9.56m. They use Gardner 6LXB engines and Leyland Hydracyclic gearboxes. Built in 1987, the buses were originally owned by London Central Bus Co. and they operated from Bexleyheath Garage in South-East London. The 3 buses were registered in the UK as E902 KYR, E903 KYR and E904 KYR.

The Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) bought the buses in 1991 and they left the UK in November of that year. In Singapore, the upper deck was converted into an 'open-top' while the lower deck was fitted with air-con. The buses were registered as RU 402A (E903 KYR), RU 403Y (E902 KYR) and RU 404U (E904 KYR). They are used within Sentosa only, ferrying visitors to various attractions on the island since October 1992.
